| T&W Corporation was founded in 1968 by Noble Taylor and Charles Wulf. Initially created to provide fabrication and installation of porcelain enameled building cladding, T&W quickly developed long lasting relationships within the retail oil industry as gas stations used porcelain exteriors extensively. The scope of work provided by T&W developed almost immediately into full general contracting services. T&W continued to provide construction services primarily to the oil industry throughout the seventy’s and early eighty’s.
In 1984 and 1985, Dennis Sheward and Gary Brinkoetter joined
T&W Corporation as Project Managers. In late 1985 they entered into an agreement to purchase T&W Corporation, and became T&W Corporation’s Vice President and President respectively.
Under the leadership of Mr. Brinkoetter and Mr. Sheward, T&W Corporation has broadened the markets served and type of projects constructed, growing to over thirty times the revenue level of 1985. This level of growth and revenue has many times ranked T&W Corporation among the Indianapolis Business Journal’s “Top 25 Contractors” in the Indianapolis area.
In 2004 Stephen Shehorn, a long term valuable employee and proven asset and leader within T&W Corporation was also named a corporate Vice President, and acquired an ownership interest in T&W Corporation as well.
